Please feel free to contact the WBAT Safety Support Team through the WBAT Help Center with any questions.

Safety Assurance Enhancements

  • 10 Secondary Users are now available for Audits, Evals, Inspections, and Investigations.
  • Attributes for each secondary user have been added in the Processing category for each object type.
  • Secondary Users can:
  • Edit their assigned objects.
  • Update the object’s Processing section, including secondary users.
  • Create child objects (Findings, Corrective Actions, Recommendations, and Tasks).
  • Secondary Users cannot:
  • Submit or change the status or objects to which they are assigned.
  • Update the lead assignee (Lead Auditor, Lead Investigator, etc.).
  • Add or edit final approvers.
  • Secondary Users will get notifications when an object has been assigned to them or when they have been unassigned from an object.
  • Secondary Users will see objects they are assigned to on their “Assigned to Me” screen.
  • When creating a Finding, Corrective Action, Recommendation, or Task, the status of “New” is now skipped and there is no need to select “Release <object>” from the Actions Section on the object’s details screen.
  • Findings, Corrective Actions, and Recommendations will have a status of “Pending Release” upon creation, except for objects with the “Immediate Action” check box selected. These objects with the “Immediate Action” check box selected will be immediately assigned.
  • Tasks are immediately assigned upon creation.
  • Users can now launch an SRA from an Investigation or Finding, if the applicable employee group has SRM enabled.
  • The maximum baseline Risk value from a child Finding now displays on the parent Audit, Evaluation, Inspection, or Investigation.
  • When creating a Corrective Action from a Finding, the Finding description is copied to the Corrective Action description, so the user can reference or edit the content.
  • The status of an Investigation is now visible in the Overview Section of the “Investigation” screen.
  • Investigations with a status of Assigned or Opened require an assignee, no longer allowing users to remove a name without specifying a replacement.
  • The new Investigation Submitter privilege has been created, allowing this user to create and manage an Investigation, as well as add and edit child objects. Once the Investigation is completed, they can no longer edit the investigation.
  • Added Station Code and Department fields to the “New Investigation” screen. Contact the WBAT Safety Support Team to enable your taxonomy to display them on the tasking screens.
  • A notification is now sent to the Lead Investigator when an Investigation is approved by the Final Approver and completed.
  • Final Approvers to Investigations now have Viewer Access to the associated Report or Summary.
  • Final Approvers for Audits, Evaluations, Inspections, Investigations, and SRAs can now add attachments while the object has the status of “Awaiting Approval” or “Pending Approval.” SRA Quality Reviewers can also add attachments while the object has an “Awaiting Review” status.

General Enhancements

  • Attachments can now be pushed from Reports to Summaries, and then to Investigations. Attachments can also be made Viewer Accessible throughout the system.
  • Added the WDC URL to the “API Statements” screen to assist users when setting up the WDC.
  • Updated the password requirements for users logging into WBAT with a username and password (not SSO). Passwords must now be at least eight characters in length and contain at least one special character.

OSHA Enhancements

  • Taxonomy has been added to the WBAT system to support OSHA 300, 300A, 301, and Annual Rates reports.
  • The list view and section search screens have been updated to reflect the new taxonomy.
  • Template forms for the OSHA 301 Injury and Illness Incident report have been created and are available to copy to your WBAT system.
  • Templates for OSHA 300, 300A, and Annual Rates are now available in the Employee Reporting Q&A screen, in the “Reports” Section.

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected a spelling error on the “Complete Finding” screen.
  • Updated the WBAT system to allow the Accountable Manager field to be added to the SRA form.
  • Added a warning message to inform users that a TDE file cannot be generated from a query with duplicate columns in the output.
  • Fixed an issue for SMS IM Meeting Viewers so they can select the link for the Meeting Review without an error.
  • Fixed an issue for Employee Reporting Event Meeting Viewers so they can select the link for the Meeting Review and Agenda without an error.
  • Updated a warning message to inform users the login has failed.
  • Removed the capability for a user in the Administration employee group to resubmit a rejected RAT. (Administration users cannot create a RAT but can manage them for other employee groups.)
  • Corrected time zone calculations to ensure all transactions are documented in your WBAT system’s time zone, not Zulu time by default.
  • Removed the Submission Date field from the Interactive Q&A screen for Summaries.
  • Confirmed the Date/Time widget functions correctly on supported mobile devices (e.g., tablets, phones) when using landscape view.
  • Updated the default maximum size limit for attachments to 1 GB.
