Enhancements

Additional Special Sections and Fields

Additional special sections and fields have been made available in the app, so the forms align more closely with the forms on the browser-based WBAT. These enhancements also support submission of LOSA and LOSA V2 forms on the app.

The special sections added to the app are:

  • LOSA:
  • Threat Section
  • Error Section
  • Undesired Aircraft State (UAS) Section
  • LOSA V2:
  • Threat/Error Model (TEM) Section

The new fields are related to:

  • HAZMAT
  • JASC
  • Latitude/longitude
  • Waypoints
  • Procedures
  • Navaids

Additionally, the Airport field has been enhanced to include all related information, including runway and gate.

Messages

Users can now access messages in the app. If a user has an unread message, they will see a persistent alert (i.e., a blue banner indicating the unread message count) on the Home page. They can tap that alert to view the Inbox and then tap the unread message to view it. If there are no unread messages, the user can access Messages by tapping the menu icon in the upper right and then the “Messages” link. Users can send messages by tapping the green “Create Message” icon (Messages page) or by using the reply option in an existing message. Sent messages are visible in the Outbox.

Safety Notices

If an organization utilizes WBAT’s Safety Notices feature, submitters can now view safety notices, along with any attachments, and acknowledge safety notices in the app. The Safety Notice Section appears on the Home page. The user will see a red circle with a number reflecting the count of unacknowledged safety notices. If there is no red circle, they can still access previously acknowledged safety notices. To acknowledge a safety notice, the user taps the green “Acknowledge” button, which displays the Safety Notice page. After reading applicable information, the user taps the “Acknowledge” button at the bottom of the page and then the circle on the confirmation pop-up message, followed by the “Acknowledge” button on the pop-up message. The app saves the acknowledgement date and time, displaying this information on the list of acknowledged safety notices.

Communications

If an organization utilizes the Communications Section on the browser-based WBAT, users can now view all documents posted in that section on the app. If the user has privileges in multiple employee groups, they can access documents posted in all Communications Sections for which they have access.

Submitted Report Receipt

The app’s Home page includes the Submitted Report Section that displays the report type, report ID number, and submission date and time for each report submitted on the app in the last 30 days. As always, users can also confirm their report was submitted by viewing their reports on the browser-based WBAT.

Update User Profile

From the app, users can now update their profiles, including such information as home address, phone number, and email address.

“Contact Us”

If an organization utilizes the “Contact Us” feature on the browser-based WBAT to advise users of how to get support, this contact information is now available from the app menu’s Information Section. You can edit the “Contact Us” content in the Operational Data Tables Section of the Operational Data screen on the browser-based WBAT. (If you do not have any contact information in the browser-based WBAT, this section will not contain any information.)

Other Enhancements

  • Added support for custom RAT leg and weight labels.
  • Added support for different WBAT environments, allowing for more thorough testing of all new development in the browser-based WBAT and the mobile app.
  • Updated the app to display section headers in submission forms.

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected an issue with the Other Employees section, letting the submitter add more employees than the form previously allowed.
  • Updated WBAT Mobile and browser-based WBAT to allow users to log in using Single Sign On.
  • Corrected an issue allowing users to submit a report multiple times.
