Enhancements

Enhanced Form Editor

This release introduces significant changes to the look and functionality of the form editor. For authorized users, these include:

  • New drag-and-drop capabilities for Banners, Sections, and Fields.
  • Easy creation of new forms and/or modification of existing forms.
  • Combo-box (drop-down) field values are accessible within the form editor.
  • Support for HTML within Banner and Section headers, allowing rich-text-editing (RTE) capabilities.
  • User-defined control of displayed Aspect/Category/Attribute field names.
  • Anchored form editor controls and items that allow continual access to editing options.
  • Includes on-demand support for adding iterative items to submitter forms for the Other Employees, JASC, and HazMat sections.

Browser-Based Submitter Form Enhancements

  • New look and feel that includes:
  • Automatic two-column layout of Section information.
  • New icons for:
  • Collapse
  • Save and Continue
  • Save and Complete Later
  • Top-anchored status bar for certain form function buttons/icons (e.g., Collapse, Save, Submit), allowing continual access—no need to scroll.
  • Two new missing submission form information indicators in the top-anchored status bar:
  • Disabled Submit button
  • Red encircled exclamation point icon

Hovering over either displays those items that must be completed prior to submitting. Once all required items are completed, the Submit button turns green and the icon disappears.

  • Submitter profile information (i.e., Employee Information section) no longer appears on submitter forms. To ensure receipt of notifications to the correct email address, Submitters should verify their profile information is up to date before submitting a report.

Other Enhancements

  • Automatic removal of leading and trailing spaces when creating a user and specifying a username by pasting.
  • Added Type, Specialty, and Title labels for the elements in the Path section of the “New Audit,” “New Evaluation,” and “New Inspection” screens.
  • Added the capability to not only update an audit, evaluation, or inspection checklist to a different checklist from the Checklist Library but also apply a checklist to an object that may not already have one if the object’s status is New or Scheduled.
  • Display a warning note in the Actions Section of the Query and Analysis screens beneath the “Show API Statements” link when duplicate columns are selected for a query’s output.
  • Operators can now request changing a report-type’s name (e.g., “Incident” to “Safety”) by contacting the WBAT Support Team.
  • Operators can now request a user purge for all disabled users who do not own any objects in the system by contacting the WBAT Support Team.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved the error that generated when a query with output that included the Geographic Location category was executed.
  • The Narrative  text box in a standard submission form now extends the entire width of the form column and text wraps at the right margin.
  • The Location field on the “New Audit,” “New Inspection,” and “New Evaluation” screens now displays the list of matching airports when a letter is typed into the field.

Resolved the issues that prevented Tableau from both extracting query output containing airport data and extracting from the WDC Data Connection containing an object.
